1) I have read the first four chapters of Watchman. None of the characters have really grabbed my attention just yet, but I don't dislike any one of them yet. What I'm most impressed with, so far, is the story and I look forward to how it develops.

Though I said so otherwise in the comments on my last post, I'd rather not have spoilers. Cos I honestly have no idea how it's going to end, and I'd like to be surprised.

2) When I was itty and first watched Angel from the first season of BtVS, I remember thinking Darla and Angel were ridiculously hot. I wasn't aware of anything like shipping, so it didn't really interfere with my B/A 4eva heart. I just kind of wanted Angel to bite Darla's neck when he had her against the wall and enjoyed Darla mindfucking him.

MY FEELINGS HAVE NOT CHANGED.

I also wanted Angel to bite Buffy when she bared her neck to him. But I'm not here to talk about R-rated fic I may or may not write, but rather to bring up a question on Angel's characterization in the episode Angel wrt to later retcons on his past.

1) There are lots of really fabulous super hero movies being made recently. And by lots, I mean arguably three, but you should see the picking! But I digress. Anyway, what are the chances of getting a Wonder Woman movie on the big screen? And what are the chances that it will be decent?

2) They are making a Terminator movie without Sarah Connor. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is being renewed. Thoughts.

3) I have not read Watchmen (yet?). I only have the vaguest knowledge of what its about. I thought the trailer looked awesome. I do, however, know a bit about the rape plot line and have heard varying responses on the plot point. I'd like lots of thoughts on this, and also how the story treated gender in general. I want to move out. I don't know how though. I am NOT I repeat NOT going back to UHV. (Insert something I can't say here because it may be seen as OMG violation! Slander!)

I want to live in Japan. But my parents are saying it's not possible, I wouldn't be able to afford it, blah blah blah blah. I hate my car payment. Yes it's good at have a car..HERE. But there, it's not.

There are so many things I want to do. But they all seem so impossible. How can I go without approval? How can I afford it? I thought I calculated everything and 2500 a month would be MORE than enough. But then my 'rents tack on car insurance, phone bills, utilities...and I don't know what I'd do about my medicine there.

I applied, I already did. But how lame, what if I have to say I can't do it because I'm a poor bitch with just a useless English degree.

Because that's what my parents are saying - the degree is useless. Well, I started right at 18 and didn't care. I just went with what those around me said to do..my counselor said go in English. I did. I didn't know what I wanted to do then. Why would I? I was freakin' 18.

Maybe I'll just hope to go to Jump Festa. If I win that contest I can at least visit Japan. Even if I can't fully experience it. But then what to do about the job situation here. I'm not going back to UHV, so that rules out teaching. So then what else is there? DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT TO HELLL!!!!!!!
